National Technical Honor Society

The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) is a nationwide honor society that recognizes outstanding students in technical education programs. In order to be a candidate for the NTHS students must meet the following criteria:

High scholastic achievement and skill development (grade average of 90 or higher in the technical program and an 88 or higher in academics).
Demonstrate good character: honesty, responsibility, and leadership
Participate in two or more community and/or school activities (activities at your sending school do count).
Be active in three or more community service activities
Inductions into the National Technical Honor Society occur in the spring each year. In order to be inducted into the NHTS, you will need a letter of recommendation from your program instructor and an application. Applications are processed in early January.
