Engineering

The Engineering program provides students with an introduction to engineering. Also covered are the skills critical to being competitive in today’s global workplace. Using the nationally recognized “Project Lead the Way” curriculum, students will apply classroom learning to investigate individual interests. The primary focus is placed on the product design process, robotics, and the incorporation of advanced technologies. These technologies include 3D printing, advanced manufacturing, and laser engraving/cutting. Through mentorship opportunities, job shadowing, and interaction with industry representatives, students will be exposed to multiple career paths and post-secondary courses of study.

What We Do

The STEM academy is a dynamic learning environment that simulates the facilities students can expect to experience in post secondary programs and industry. Students will utilize the most advanced technologies to engage in problem/project-based activities that model engineering principles.

Courtney Casey, Class of 2015

Stafford ended up being like a second home. I looked forward to coming to class everyday because you don’t just sit there and stare at a book, you get hands on experience, which was really helpfull for me to completely understand what I was learning.
