Lyle Jepson, Director for Stafford Technical Center in Rutland, Vermont was recently awarded the 2008 Vermont Hospitality Council’s “Allied Member of the Year”. Under Mr. Jepson’s leadership at Stafford Technical Center, many students have gone on to careers in the Hospitality Industry. His involvement with the profession on a local, regional, and national scale has taken him above and beyond the call of duty. The award was presented by the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing Commissioner Bruce Hyde, at the second annual Vermont Hospitality Gala, on September 17th at the Stratton Mountain Resort.
