During the dates of March 4th through the 6th, 2010, Stafford Technical Center Hospitality and Entrepreneurship students participated in the annual Vermont DECA Career and Development Conference. Students participated in various events in which they can demonstrate their knowledge of marketing, merchandising, sales, human relations, and professional behavior. Events include displays, public speaking, and role plays. STC Students earned 14 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze medals and numerous Honorable Mentions.

On Friday, January 30th, second year students in Stafford Technical Center’s Digital Arts Program participated in the Statewide Graphic Design Competition held at Lyndon State College. They had the opportunity to collaborate with other graphic design students from around Vermont and one New Hampshire school. Stafford Digital Arts student Bonnie Schnabel’s team took the first place gold medal using her design. In addition, fellow Stafford Digital Arts student Matt Hall’s team received a bronze for their design. Bonnie Schnabel is a Fair Haven Union High School student and Matt Hall attends Mill River Union High School.
