Stafford Technical Center (STC) still has limited openings in several of our program areas.  If you are a high school student, entering your sophomore, junior or senior year in the fall of 2013, with a particular career interest or passion, Stafford might be the ideal place for you.  You will be immersed in an environment that combines knowledge and applied skills.  There will be an opportunity to earn college credits and valuable industry certifications making you an attractive candidate for college and career positions.

The programs that have limited vacancies are Automotive Refinishing & Collision, where students can potentially earn the following certifications and or college credits: DuPont Paint, SIMS Plastic Repair, and S/P2 Safety and Pollution Prevention.   Construction Technology:  US Department of Labor OSHA 10 hour Safety Certificate and Associated General Contractors of Vermont Program Credential.   Forestry, Natural Resources & Horticulture:  Earn Game of Logging and OSHA 10 Certifications plus earn up to 9 forestry and natural resource credits from Paul Smith’s College and 6 credits from Unity College.   Music Technology: Jazz and Contemporary:  Receive up to 6 Fine and Performing Arts credits from Johnson State College and 3 credits from the New England Institute of Art.  Recreation, Resort, & Small Business Management:   Earn up to 9 credits from Paul Smith’s College, 4 credits from Johnson State College and 3 credits from Community College of Vermont as well as Certification in Customer Service and Sales through the National Retail Federation.
