
The goal of this program is to expose 10th grade students to a wide variety of career paths in an in-depth way through project-based learning. The ideal student is someone who is unsure of their career path, but is curious and willing to step outside of their comfort zone.
This student Is respectful, responsible, safe, demonstrates perseverance and is successful in working in group situations.
Specific Program Entry Requirements: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to respectfully participate as a member of a team, strong communication skills ( in the areas of reading, writing, listening, speaking and comprehension), strong grammar and writing skills ( in order to – understand and analyze information, prepare for the workforce, express ideas clearly and effectively, build stronger relationships, and develop creative and critical thinking ) , demonstrates curiosity to learn about a variety of career paths, demonstrates responsible use of technology and tools, basic Math Skills in
the areas of; percentages, fractions, decimals, and measurements, proficient in the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and a recommendation from
teacher/counselor.
