Hilary Lambert – Culinary Arts

Hilary smiles with a stormy sky behindI am excited to join the Stafford Technical Center community as the Culinary Instructor and look forward to helping students discover the many opportunities the culinary arts have to offer. A lifelong Vermonter, I have spent more than 30 years working in restaurants, bakeries, hospitality, and farming, experiences that taught me the importance of teamwork, creativity, professionalism, and supporting local agriculture. My passion for teaching led me to serve as the Healthy Foods Instructor for the Greater Rutland County Supervisory Union and, currently, as the Farm to School Coordinator for Bennington and Rutland Counties, where I connect students with local food systems and agricultural education. I believe the kitchen is one of the best classrooms, where students develop technical skills alongside confidence, communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where every student is challenged, supported, and inspired to succeed, whether pursuing a culinary career or gaining lifelong skills. I look forward to an exciting year of learning, cooking, and growing together with our students and families
