Some of the students worked on this project, which required 2 new fenders due to rust. Part of the refinishing process is blending adjacent panels, which includes both front doors and the hood. This particular color is a white pearl, which adds another layer of paint that provides the pearl effect. Many of today’s exotic colors require additional effort and processes to maintain a factory appearance. Part of our program is teaching the students how to go about learning these processes and applying them to projects. The students tried hard and did very well with this project, with a
more difficult paint job. After assembly and a good cleaning, this project is ready to go home to a happy customer.
