Program Instructor

Stacey Hutchins

Stacy Hutchins did her cosmetology training at Obriens school of Cosmetology in Burlington VT. After working for 19 years in salon environments and being self employed for the last 10 years she decided that working with upcoming cosmetologists by joining Stafford Technical Center was where she wanted to take her career in Cosmetology.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenage boys, attending sporting events for her sons and reading.

Paula Levasseur

Paula Levasseur resided in Dartmouth, Massachusetts before arriving in Rutland, Vermont. She owned a full-service salon and spa focusing on all areas of cosmetology for over twenty-two years. She has attended various aspects of education including Vocational Education through Fitchburg State University; Vidal Sassoon Academy (London, England); and Martin Parson’s Academy in Canada.

Krista Young

With 15 years in the cosmetology field, Krista comes to us from her salon just up the road in Rutland Town.  Having graduated Obrien’s Aveda Institute in 2002, each year she attends several classes and hair shows to further her education. She has also studied at The Redken Exchange in NYC, specializing in corrective color.

Gabby Vest, Class of 2012

Stafford honestly changed my life. I was really unhappy at my sending school. I got good grades but lacked a passion for anything. At Stafford I found my passion. People go their entire life never finding theirs and I’m thankful everyday that I found mine.
