Helen Papeika, the Co-chair of the Department of Nursing, Assistant Professor of Nursing visited Health Careers. She was accompanied by 4 current BSN nursing students. Each student spoke about why they wanted to be a nurse and what brought them to choose Castleton. Professor Papeika spoke about the different pathways in Bachelor, Associate, and LPN programs. She spoke about the application process, clinical, and the prerequisites for their LPN and associate program. Most of our Health Careers students have the required prerequisites upon completion of high school.
