If you are reading these words, you have taken the first step toward a rewarding and exciting educational experience! Rapid advances in technology are making significant changes in the way we live. The workplace is constantly changing as businesses strive to compete in the global marketplace. As a student at Stafford Technical Center, you will have the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to your advantage as you prepare for the future.  We invite you to explore our fourteen programs and the many exciting careers available through each one!

Certifications and College Credit

All Stafford Technical Center students are offered the opportunity to earn a variety of industry certificates.

College Connections: Many programs offer dual enrollment or articulation agreement credits that award eligible students college credit for their STC program. Dual enrollment courses result in college transcripts and transferable credits. Articulation agreements require students to enroll in their post-secondary program after graduation before the credits will be listed on their college transcript.

Industry certifications and college credits are renewed annually and subject to change.

How to Apply

Each year we will visit your high school and speak with all 10th grade students and encourage you to visit our Showcase Days and/or Career Night to learn more about the programs offered at Stafford Technical Center.  During these visits you have the opportunity to meet current students, the program instructors, experience some hands-on learning related to your program of interest, and to speak with our school counselors and Administrators.  If you find a program that is a good fit, we invite you to apply! Our pre-requisites for each technical program are available in this document.  We ask that you look at these with your school counselor and/or parent guardian to make sure you have the necessary skills to be successful in the program.  Once you determine that you have what it takes you should complete our on-line application.  Once you have submitted your on-line application your school counselor will be prompted to upload required materials.
