The 2025–2026 school year is off to a powerful start for our Health Careers 1 students! From day one, this group has demonstrated dedication, curiosity, and a genuine passion for entering the world of healthcare. In just a few short months, these future healthcare professionals have already earned certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid, with additional certifications expected later in the year. But their journey doesn’t stop there.
Students have begun exploring the foundations of Nursing Assistant training, diving into the principles of patient care, communication, and teamwork. Whether practicing proper hand hygiene, making an occupied bed, or understanding the importance of empathy in caregiving, they are building the skills that will one day make them trusted members of a healthcare team. Building on their growing knowledge, the class has also embarked on Anatomy and Physiology 1, which is a comprehensive exploration of the human body’s structure and function. From the skeletal system to the cardiovascular system, they’re discovering how the body works and why every detail matters in patient care.
